What is Delightex Nova?

Delightex Nova is a platform for creators to easily design, build, and share interactive experiences, from immersive spaces and product demos to simulations, games, and digital stories.

With powerful yet intuitive tools, Delightex Nova makes it easy to bring your ideas to life and explore them instantly in augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) from the browser - in-app support is coming soon!

Who is Delightex Nova designed for?

Delightex Nova is designed for absolutely everyone. Whether you're a professional creator, a hobbyist, a storyteller, or just someone with an idea that sparks excitement - you belong here.

You don’t need any technical skills or coding knowledge to get started. Whether you're building something for work, for fun, or just for yourself, Delightex Nova gives you the tools to bring your ideas to life, quickly, easily, and creatively.

And if you do enjoy coding, we’ve got you covered too! Delightex Nova supports CoBlocks, Python, and TypeScript, so you can choose the approach that fits your style and skill level.

How do I set up my Delightex Nova account?

Getting started with Delightex Nova is super simple. All you need is your email address. Just head over to our sign-up page and choose your preferred sign-up method.

Once you create your account, we’ll send you a magic link straight to your inbox. Click it, and you’re in, no password required.

How do I create my first Experience?

Once you’re logged in, head to the Experiences section and click “Create Experience” in the top left. You’ll land on a grey screen with a camera, this is your blank canvas!

You’ll see three icons on the top left. Start by clicking the third one to set the vibe. Choose from preset environments or even let AI generate one for you.

Then, use the other two icons to add objects from the library or upload your own. Just like that, you’re building your first interactive world!

What are the system requirements and compatibility details?

Delightex Nova supports access through browsers on both web and VR, so you can create and explore your Experiences across devices with ease. Everything is synced in real-time, so you can seamlessly switch between devices without missing a beat. You can Delightex Nova. it from any laptop or model, and it’s compatible with all major browsers, no special setup needed.

You can also access Delightex Nova from your mobile device or tablet, which is perfect for viewing and making quick edits. Just keep in mind that some experiences might not be fully navigable on mobile (for now).

What is PBR (Physics-Based Rendering) and how is it used in Delightex Nova?

PBR, or Physics-Based Rendering, is a technique that makes your scenes look more realistic by simulating how light interacts with materials—adding reflections, better shading, and an overall more immersive feel.

To try it out, you can create a new PBR scene by selecting a PBR environment from the environment list, or remix a project that already uses one (just look for the PBR tag). Check our PBR page to learn more.

How can I use light and audio items in my Experience?

In Delightex Nova, you can add realistic lighting and sound to bring your scenes to life. Lighting helps set the mood and enhance visuals, with three types available: directional, spot, and point lights.

To add lights or sound, just go to the library under “Special” and drag them into your scene. You can also drag and drop your own sound files.

Both items are fully customizable—adjust color, intensity, shadows, volume, loops, and more to create the perfect vibe.

What is an orthographic camera and when should I use it?

The orthographic camera lets you view your scene without perspective distortion (everything stays the same size, no matter how far it is). It’s perfect for technical views, stylized scenes, or when you want that classic 2D side-scrolling look often seen in vintage games.

To use it, just select your camera and toggle on Orthographic Projection in the customization panel.

What are AI NPCs and how do they work in 3D scenes?

AI NPCs (Non-Player Characters) are intelligent, expressive 3D characters that can talk, react, and show emotion in real time.

Powered by AI-driven dialogue, voice, and animation, they transform static scenes into living, interactive worlds where every conversation feels natural and immersive. Whether it’s a guide, teacher, or mysterious ally, each NPC responds dynamically to players and adds life to your creation.

How can I generate an NPCs in Delightex Nova?

To design interactive characters in Delightex Nova, simply open the Item Library, drag a character or object into your scene, and enable AI NPC in the Item Inspector. From there, write a short prompt defining who they are, choose a voice, and add animations to make them expressive and lifelike. It only takes a few moments to turn any 3D model into a character that speaks and reacts.

How can I create a more interactive, lifelike Experience in Delightex Nova?

Use AI NPCs to make your Experiences feel truly alive. Define each character’s personality and purpose with prompts, add voice and emotion through animation, and design interactions that respond naturally to players.

A great tip is to define each NPC’s role, goal, and tone in your prompt; this simple structure makes their behavior more
natural and believable. The result is a seamless, human-like exchange that transforms storytelling, gameplay, or learning into
something immersive and unforgettable.

Need an example? Try this: “You are a fantasy innkeeper in a medieval village (role). Your task is to welcome travelers, answer their questions about the town, and drop small hints about local legends (goal). Always speak warmly, use everyday language, and add colorful details about food, drinks, and gossip to make the world feel alive (tone).”

How can I play or navigate Experiences in Delightex Nova?

There are a few fun ways to navigate Experiences in Delightex Nova, and they’re all smooth, intuitive, and designed to keep you immersed!

On a computer, you can move around using the arrow keys or W, A, S, D, and in some Experiences, press the space bar to jump.

On mobile, not all Experiences are navigable yet—but for those that are, you can tap the on-screen arrows to move forward, backward, or jump, and swipe left or right to look around.

Can I upload my own 3D models, images, or audio?

Yes, you can! In the “Upload” section, you can import your own images (including 360° and GIFs), 3D models, videos, and sound files into your Projects.

Delightex Nova supports formats like STL, OBJ, FBX, and GLTF, including some animated models. You can also use the integrated web search to find the perfect content for your scene.

How can I buy a Delightex Nova Pro plan?

You can purchase the Delightex Nova Pro plan directly online using a credit or debit card. Simply go to your account and click “Upgrade now”, or scroll up to the Pro section of this page and use the button provided to get started.

What subscription plans are available?

We currently offer two subscription plans: Basic and Pro.

Can I try Delightex Nova for free?

Yes! When you sign up, your 1-month free trial will automatically begin. You'll get full access to all Pro features - no credit card required.

Can I switch from Pro to Basic later?

Sure! When your Pro license ends after one month, you can choose to renew your subscription or return to the Basic plan.

Just keep in mind: any features exclusive to Pro that you’ve used in your Experiences will become inactive. While you’ll still be able to view and share those Experiences, you won’t be able to edit them unless you upgrade again.

How do I renew my Pro license plan?

Our Delightex Nova Pro subscription is automatically renewed every month. You’ll be charged at the start of each billing cycle using your selected payment method.
